MEET OUR TEAM

Massage Now hosts a team of Independent Registered Massage Therapists providing a Circle of Care for our clients. The RMTs are not employees of the clinic; each is their own business entity and offer unique treatment approaches, modalities and focus.

Each of the RMTs listed has completed a 2200 hour training program through a recognized Massage Therapy school, and has successfully completed the Provincial Board Exams laid out by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

ANDREW JONES
ANDREW JONESRegistered Massage Therapist
Andrew is a Registered Massage Therapist and a graduate from Medix College of Healthcare. He has been practicing since January of 2010, taking a particular interest in Pain Science. Being a scientific skeptic; he is constantly refining his approach by keeping current with the most recent scientific literature and research.

Over a decade of experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Weight Lifting gives him firsthand experience and insight with athletic training, injuries and rehabilitation. Andrew’s treatments use the theory and framework of Dermoneuromodulation; using various techniques such as gentle ‘fascial release’, joint mobilizations and stretching techniques. He has also worked extensively with patients experiencing chronic pain and tension headaches.

No lotion or oil is used during his treatments, so there is much more traction between the therapist’s hands and the patient. Andrew has taken additional courses in fascial release techniques from various structural integrators such as Tom Myers and is currently acting as a teaching assistant to Walt Fritz PT – who teaches Myofascial Release from a modern scientific approach.
